・Origin: Malaysia(Malay peninsula, Penang Island, Lang Kawi Island)
・Yellow Curculigo blossoms come out in their roots throughout the year and bear fruit like a shallot. The fruit contains the protein called curculin and has the same function as miracle fruit.
・Effect duration: 10 minutes to 15 minutes
・Curculin is vulnerable to heat because it is protein. Accordingly, curculin
is required to be preserved in frozen. Unlike miraculin, curculin has two
different functions. One has the same function as miraculin. The other
one gives water sweet taste.
